Destination: Deep Space - 2019 FRC Game

The name and theme for the 2019 game, FIRST Destination: Deep Space, was revealed at the closing ceremonies of the 2018 FIRST champioships in Houston. On January 5, 2019 the game was revealed. DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE finds FIRST Robotics Competition teams collecting samples on Planet Primus. Two competing alliances will combat unpredictable terrain and weather patterns, making remote robot operation essential to their mission on the planet. With only two minutes and thirty seconds until liftoff, the alliances must gather as many cargo pods and hatch panels as possible and prepare their spaceships for departure before the next sandstorm arrives.
